The  story

In 2008, Hanna and Fredrik met at the 
Umeå Academy of Art, northern Sweden. They started 
sharing experiences and ideas and soon discovered that they share
the same vision – to promote Scandinavian design in the global
market. Hanna had been interested in Scandinavianjewellery
design for many years; Fredrik had already launched
several successfulweb shops. When merging these
two worlds, they started planting the seed of what 
was to become the first web shop offering 
Scandinavian Jewellery Design -
The Jewellery Department.
